Depending on your hair texture, there are several things you can do. If your hair is straight (relaxed or natural) then you can really play with this season's hottest hair accessory - upscale headbands! Simply slick back your hair and add a head band. You can also try a side part and add a decorative comb on the side. Try http://mp.hairboutique.com
If your hair is wavy or curly, why not try a temporary color change or highlights (see a professional!)
Of course, if you want to try a temporary longer look, then try clip in hair or a clip on ponytail in a color that matches your hair and texture. Try especially yours on line.

Well, alot of these hairstyles being offered are not easy to do -depending on the texture of your hair. Do you get perms? If so- when your hair is short- you need to keep up on your perms because if your hair is nappy and short- that really limits your options. If not, how about some box braids? Get your hair done professionally , and that can last you 2-3 months. Once you take them out, you can perm your hair, and I promise it wil be longer. Also, do you get your hair done in the salon often? A wash n set? WHere they wash, put rollers, and blow dry? I do this weekly- and I get my ends cut when necessary. Cutting your ends makes your hair grow and keeps it healthy looking- this is important if its short. If your hair is short and healthy- it will look as though you want it to be short, instead of just not growing. I am half black/ half puertorican- with the black hair. My hair has been long, then short, then long, then short again. I get weekly conditioner treatments, ends trimmed and I just take car of my hair better now. I know my hair will get longer.. as long as I keep this up. Yours will too. For people that say short hair is easier.. have hair that is easier to manage. Probably hair they can wash and leave the house without a problem. Not everyone has thin, straight hair.

There are plenty of things to do. You can twist the front of it while have the back flipped out. Or you just slightly curl the ends under to make it look like you just got out of bed. And you can part the front of your hair to give you the sweeping bangs look while the back is spiked out. The list goes on and on. I would suggest getting a magazine that is just for short hair styles.

there are plenty of things to do... depending on your style. use cute clips to pin up hair in different ways, mohawk, get some highlights, start a collection of funky hats, dye your hair a different color, wear wigs......... have fun with what you got and make a decision to either let your hair grow or keep it cut.... the in between stages are a biyotch but you can still look great. good luck!

You can sometimes spike it in places if it is short enough.
I don't really like short hair, so maybe try growing it out.

If you are complaining about it, cut it off. Get with the program.
