Acetone. You can get it at most drug stores as well as all beauty supply houses. It is cheap. It's a GREAT polish remover, but can be drying, so use sparingly.

Nail polish remover will damage the hair. Just make an appt at you salon and have it cut out... Been there, done that.

Pure acetone on a flannel,then rub on . Make sure you then put shampoo on your hair before you wet it, then wet, lather and condition as normal.
