I'm going to get my hair cut and colored this am. I always leave a tip for a cut, but I've never gotten my hair colored at this salon. The bill should be around $100. What should the stylist tip be?

My hair is really fine and straight.
However It has recently began to curl slightly at the ends,
Giving way to massive tangles and knots.. almost like giant dreadlocks..I brush It or attempt to everyday. but it never comes all the way out without a giant fight and loss of hair.

Any way To make the two hour long process of brushing faster and less painful on my head??

I have not dyed it in over a year, so the top was brown , which I wanted and the back still had a little blonde in it. So I tried to do it light brown and now it's got a green tint. One lady told me to go back to dark blonde so I tried that but the green tint is still there!!! Someone else told me to try ALOE RID by Nexxus? What to do???

my original hair color is dark brown but i dyed it light brown 2 months ago, so now my roots have grown out. im thinking about getting highlights but im not too sure how to go about this? before i get high lights should i have to dye my hair back to my original color??

I have very long fair straight hair, i am horrible at up-dos. Should i have it braided for some time?
I look funny too, i have a very fair complexion, but if it was darker, i would look like a black or mulatto girl, because of my kinda round nose, shape of the eyes and lips.
Also i wonder if braiding would harm my hair.
I am just wondering, really need advice.

i have a problem because my hair will not grow, the reason for that is because it breaks off really bad. what can i do to stop this from happening. i have tryed a few different shampoos. i don't like hair grease all that much so i don't apply it often, could that be the reason? or could it be something else?

I have frizzy hair. They are not split ends. It bugs me. I put mousse but that certainly doesn't help. Please don't suggest me any shampoos or conditioners, the only kind I use is White Rain and that is the only shampoo that is not animal tested. :) Tips, please.

I have tried washing my hair with soap and some strong dandruff shampoo, but I still have this oily residue on the top of my head close to my scalp, it kind of seems like there is leftover hair product in my hair, but I haven't used anything.

Ok, so I thought I would be able to successfully give my hair a trim...just the dead ends at first. And then, I just couldn't stop I guess. Dear lord, it's uneven in the back and I've cut these crazy looking peppermint patty (from charlie brown) style bangs that I can't seem to shape. It's pretty bad..ha, I'd laugh if I were you too! But what can I do to at least dress it up a bit before I have time to get a haircut this weekend? Please help.

I asked for it to be Shoulder Length and he chopped it all the way to my ears......I'm devasted and can't even get out of bed. I know this sounds pathetic, but my hair was already an insecurity to begin with. Please tell me about how long (months) it will take to get back to shoulder length and will all these Layers ever be even or grow out so you can't tell they're there. Thanks. I know there's more important issues, but i'm really hurt over this. thank you.
