Ive started a course in hairdressing & need to be able to do this ive read instructions on how to do it but find it confusing as cos im left handed i begin my plaits with left going over centre then right ova centre it is the same principle plz help me? thanks

Pick up say all of the top section of hair....
Split into 3 sections as if doing a regular braid.
Lay the middle section down.
Hold both left & right sections in one hand seperating them with fingers. I usually hold one section of hair in between my little finger & ring finger, the other section in between thumb & pointer finger.
With your left or right hand, take your thumb & drag a section from the front all the way to where the middle section is laying, picking the middle section you laid down up on your way...
Go over, or under, depending on the type of braid, either the left or right hand section of hair, thus it becomes the middle section...
Then just keep repeating same steps...

im left handed and its no harded than starting right every time you cross over the side comming over goes to the middle. then the other side comes over to the middle etc etc keep it tight and yu should have no problems

What Cameron said is true. The secret is keeping it tight when you come over the middle, Good luck :)!

it doen't matter what hand you are it does take time so just keep praticing it you'll get it.......and just remember leftys are the only ones in there right mind lol
