if you have ever dyed your hair like i have you would know that you roots grow back first so the answer to that is yes now after a certain time the color will change to gray and will start to grow like that from then on, starting gray at its roots, now dont pull them cause they multiply when you do that, just dye your hair with your hair color, they have a box of root apply, but with that i would use a full head dye. Yes, the hair does grow gray from the root, this tends to occur when there is a decrease in melanin in the root of the hair.

Yes after certain age the gland that is responsible for hair growth undergoes degardation and color of the hair changes also now a days other things that affect the gland can be stress, dippression ,irregular diet etc

I think the colour pigment just dies or something cause yes it grows grey out of your head, go check your gran's head

weird b.c my hair goes grey at the roots of my part line but sometimes halfway up..but thats after 3 months of growth

My grays seem to start at the ends of my hair and not at the roots. It is actually quite beautiful and I am proud of my "crown of glory". Work it ladies, we earned it!

Most cases, but I've got some that are only gray on the ends. I don't see any that are dork st the end and have gray roots.
