Honestly, you need to leave it alone and get it fixed by a professional.
I've been cutting hair 9 yrs. and still will not cut my own hair. It is alot harder and more akward.
If you keep cutting it will end up a huge mess and it'll be so unever that not even a professional will beable to fix it without having to cut it really short.

There's no getting out of this.I mean, if you would have just cut a few bangs or something, then that would have been different. Wear a beany cap, or some kind of hat. And just try and avoid her, and be like mom, I'm sorry but I really didn't like my hair and I tried cutting it and I really messed up. And then I'm sure she will take you to get it cut. My old friend Tori had her sister cut her hair (Her sister was in 5th grade at the time) and one lock was down to below her shoulders and one bundle of hair was shoulder length and the other hair was everywhere inbetween. She just told her mom the truth and her mom took her and she got a super cute haircut, of course it was short but still cute. Your just going to have to deal with it, and sorry but she won't be happy if you don't tell her and hide it. You could try styling it as best as you can to lessen her anger, she shouldn't see how bad you butchered it. Oh, and try pigtails.

Don't try to fix it your self,go to a salon as soon as possible, but until then curl it with a curling iron or hot rollers or put it up. Your not alone, I've been in your situation and I have a messed up hair cut right now, but a hair stylist did it. I know it totally sucks, but trust me it will grow out, thank God! Good luck

Yep, bad move, have done it myself, actually am laughing now remembering when I learnt my lesson.
Strictly colours and cuts or trims from experts ever since.
You have two options, try and undo the damage yourself or find an out of the way hairdresser no-one goes to and get them to fix it.
I lost my growth, which hurt the most, hopefully they can style your hair without taking too much off.
Good luck.... let us know how you go, ok mate.

How about something simple like a headband or some cute hair clips for now? Your best bet will be getting a stylist to give you a professional cut though.

Ahh, yes, similar thing happened to me :) The way I dealt was, as many have already mentioned, by putting my hair up (usually is "messy" buns) and by using chunky headbands. A solution for the bangs might be to twist them around loosely and hold them with bobby pins on top of your head for a full-hair look.

Put it up. You can't tell if the ends are even or not when you're hair is UP. Twist it, ponytail it or throw it in a messy bun. A haristylist will be able to fix it whenver you can get to one.

Go to the salon ASAP....My friend and I did this once....I thought that if I explained to her how to cut my hair that it would work.....boy was I ever wrong. It came out totally uneven. I was able to use a headband to help cover up the mess until I could go to the salon.

putting clips in your hair can always dress it up...or a hat? but honeslty it can't be that bad..just don't care what people may say! Also you can always pull it back and clip the bangs to the side!
