I have used so many different shampoos and conditioners! My hair smells like trash when it's wet right after I wash it. Its not the smell of my towel. I don't know what it is. This is just started happening recently for the past couple of months. It smells great when it's dry though. Maybe because my hair is so long and it's hard to wash it everywhere. But, I wash it thoroughly! Any ideas why this is happening all the sudden? Thanks!

Or can you get the exact same results by just doing it yourself with store brought hair dye? IE clairol, l'oreal, etc.
Also which store brought hair dye brand is the best? I want to dye my hair like a rich dark brown.

I have lice. My hair is thich and it is always tangled. What can i do? Putting on lice shampoo and medicene won't work because my hair is long and thick. The lice is killing me. Do blonde highlights make a woman look older? I am in my early 40's and my natural color is a drab brown with gray mingled in. My (bald with gray fringe) Father-in-law keeps telling me that I am to old for highlights and he is really making me feel very self- conscience.

ok, I have naturally Dark brown hair, I tried dying it a lighter brown using Clairol 106 Natural Medium ash blonde, it came out light brown and I left it for a couple of months, I then really wanted to go blonde so i used Clairol 103 Natural Light Neutral blonde, I didn't use bleach before hand,and I liked the colour, the only part I didn't like was it only dyed my roots and the rest was the same light brown colour. I didn't want this so i dyed it dark brown. I still want to go blonde but I'm not sure how to, I have very oily hair (i wash it everyday and it still is oily towards the end of my 24hr cycle) so it drying up doesn't bother me. I have read some other people's answers and i think due to Living in Australia I have never heard of Sallys or Manic panic. Please help!
