What is the best hairspray that won't make my hair look wet?

I wear my hair in a pompadour and I don't like how the pomp looks wet but the rest of my hair looks normal. Any suggestions hair-spray-wise?

VO5 flexible hold won't make your hair look wet or dull. Make sure you don't hold spray cans to close to your hair to avoid the wet crunchy look.

Honestly, I dont use hairspray often, just occasionally. But I read somewhere that if you spray the hair spray to close to your hair itll appear wet. The best thing to do is to hold the bottle 6-10 inches away from your hair. The product will still reach your hair, but it wont ruin the style by making it look wet.

Well gurl I reccomend Aussie Hairspray but all hairspraiys spray chemicals,and the chemicals are wet,but if you wan't you can put dry you hair or something and then put it on but all hairsprays have chemicals that make your hair wet.

I would definitely use anything aerosol. because it doesn't make your hair look wet at all. The pump hair sprays give it the wet look.

Aussie Hairspray or try using Mousee before you do your hair do you don't have to use as much hairspray
