Hair - August 2006

When I get my hair done (in Ohio) I give my hair stylist a 25% tip. This always seems to disappoint the stylist, like it's not enough. I get a color and style and pay over $100 with tip and it's like balked at. What's the protocol?

I;ve heard of upscale salons that don;t do the tip thing. They just adjust their prices to pay their talent well.

...a person with light blue eyes, light (but not fair) skin, freckles and red undertones in skin? Natural hair color is light brown with golden/ light auburn highlights.

I've dyed it a few different shades or auburn, dark brown, and black. Blonde does not look good because I had red tones. Trust me. I've been letting the color grow out since November and it's just boring me right now. I want something more fun. Any suggestions?

I can't seem to get the hang of blowdrying my hair straight. I have natrually wavy hair and I've been trying to take more time with it and straigten it but I cant seem to get coordinated enought to use the round brush AND blowdryer at the same time. Any tips on how to do it the correct and easiest way? I alwasy seem to get the round brush tangled up and end up blowdrying my hair into a poof ball!
