I think I spelled that wrong, bu you know what I mean. I have very curly, short dirty blonde hair, and I am bored with it. Should I die the bottom of it dark Auburn?

When I say the bottom, I dont mean the tips, I mean like underneath.

Go for it, if you don't like it you can always fix it. I love red hair it's so pretty. Once you dye it auburn you're going to need to care for it differently, red is a very delicate color.

I don't know how it would look but I know I am bored with mine as well... The only thing I can think of is to buy a hair style magazine that is in color to get ideas... But I will defiantly keep this question on watch to see if anyone comes up with a better idea.....
On some people it looks cute but I am not sure about auburn... Try a light golden brown instead of going so bold to begin with ....
Mine is darker underneath but very blond on the top layer........ Defiantly time for something refreshed........ â¥
EDIT: The honey brown sounds like a pretty color .....⥠A light blond with honey brown weaved through....... Hmmmm maybe that will work even for me...... â¥

No!! Dye it whatever color you might like, but dye the whole head of it. What's with just the bottom of it? I've seen that around, and it looks horrible. It looks like a really bad case of roots that someone is letting grow out.
Just my opinion, but auburn isn't the best color when its fake anyway. Why not do some nice highlights or lighten it a shade if you're bored with it.

If you mean the back 1/2 of your hair near your neck? My daughter did it and it looks nice...she gets a lot of compliments especially when she puts it in a ponytail. I didn't think I was going to like it when she told me what she was going to do...but it looks really nice. The top part is honey brown and the bottom is almost black.

Why just the bottom? Why not put auburn streaks throughout your whole head instead?

Only if you are a fat heifer who lives in a red-neck trailer park and are desperate for any kind of attention you can get.
Otherwise, I don't think that is a look you really want.

Depends on your age, personality and your style. If you think it fits for your image than go for it. Hell, Jeana, if you don't like it, you can always dye it back.
You have my vote of approval which is worth exactly "nothing".
