Why does darker people hair grow nappy and the lighter grow pretty what is the science reason and how to get it to grow

Its all in the genes...Im mixed but I have family memebers that are dark skin and have very shiny wavy hair. It has nothing to do with skin color thats "old skool" ignorance. Its genetics only, and nappy is a state of mind. All hair all textures have their gripes. Water makes the hair grow alot and fast!

trust me not all light colored ppl have good hair take me for exsample im "white" and my hair is like always hard to style and it grows kinda nappy.

i don't know, but i'm dark and my hair isn't EVER nappy!!! i guess it is because of genes really!
