While henna is a long used color process once you use it you can not use any other chemicals on your hair until it grows out because of the natural minerals in it . but it is not all bad i have been using henna for years my hair is shiny and not damaged it coats the hair i was leary at first but decided to go for it (because i love the true red ) you can mix this powder with any number of things hot water, coffee, kool aid unsweetened with water , cherry works great for intense red apply the mud and cover with plastic for a 1/2 hour or so or cover and go under the hair dryer for intense color just be sure you are ready to have it until it grows out
good luck

Don't use hennas, that will damage your hair badly. Your best bet is to go to the salon and have it done by a stylist.
