Hair - August 2006

I straighten my hair at night and i still want it to be straight when I wake up in the morning. So, the question is- how should i wear my hair to bed? Should it be up, or down, or what? I don't have one of those hair scarves so please dont suggest it. Thanks!!

I use a pressing comb on part of my hair just to try out. but its been two weeks and that part has gone back to its nappy texture. does anyone know how long it takes to go back?or does it go back?

What would be a good hairstyle change? I have brown hair that's past the shoulders. I'm not quite sure what the shape of my face is. I've had the same hair since I was in about 1st grade, only it's a lot longer now and I'm going into 9th grade lol.

Well Ive been reading other reviews on it and it says that it actually makes hair more dry after continued use. But I think its just for those people who put it on and then blow dry their hair. I just started to use it and i dont blow dry my hair i just put it on after it air dires and it leaves my hair reall soft and silky. But then again I JUST started to use it and i dont want this to later damage my hair. Has anyone else tried it?? Is it that bad?

I'm Druidic and looking for a way to make my hair grow faster after a *really* bad hair cut. I'm taking selenium and fish oil and b-complex and a multi to make it grow faster. I use generic mane & tail conditioner, and keep my hair as healthy as possible. I've always eaten a healthy diet, but I really need something more to to really make it grow a bit faster. Does anyone have any spells or meditations, or even herbs or something to make it grow faster? even products that work would be nice, or a better vitamin to take. Thanks for answering.

I really need a haircut desperately since after about 6 months I've been growing out a really terrible looking one. See, the lady who cut my hair cut it uneven. When I left I had one side longer then the other. So I went back in to get them evened out... but then I realized she also cut both sides in two different ways (two different hairstyles.) Since it was too short to do anything about I waited about six months. My hair just about covers the nape of my neck and will not come out good at all because of the way it is cut... but I am afraid to go to another salon since my last experience and am also afraid to cut them both even again I will have to cut it way to short and I do not want to grow it out again like I did before!

OH PLEASE HELP ME!!!

My hair is thick, and it never stays down... I want to know if there is a place or item I can use to soften up for at a day (until I use it again) so my hair can grow down, like from front/sides/and back. I went to a beauty salon and had my hair cut uneven and REALLY short so I couldn't do anything about it. It was longer on one side and shorter on the other and in two different styles. Now as it is growing to a more moderate lenght it is bothering me because it is so obviously uneven. I don't know what to do because I don't want to cut it until it gets long! HELP!

My hair is natraully medium brown but bleaches out alot in the summer so i decided to dye it back to brown but when i did it was nearly black that was about 4 days ago. now my hair has a chocolate hue to it instead of a black hue.(i have washed it constantly with baking soda,prell,shampoo mixed w/ bleach) the whole 9 yards it has lightened up alot but is still way to dark for my taste i want to if at all possible avoid striping it but i need help!! please give me advice

I love the look of teased hair, especially in a pony tail like this http://www.beautyriot.com/article.php?id=2740&c_id=54 but my hair is really long and thick and I have a hard time making it poof up like that. Any hints, ladies?

PS- I know HOW to tease it... I just can never get it to work in a ponytail!
