i used to use both every day, sometimes 2 times a day.

would overuse ruin hair? also whats the longest you should go with out using them?

(i have longlish hair, but not long enough to tie it all up)

aT The moment i'm teaching myself to do french plaits but i've got some questions
1. If you can do french plaits how long did it take you to learn
2. Is it worth the effort

I have very very thick and curly hair i get my hair cut at toni and guy every 6 weeks. I need to straighten my hair every day because it gets all kinky and fuzzy after i have slept on it. I bought the ghd straighteners because i heard that they are the best ones for your hair.

i get them threaded/waxed and they begin to grow the second day..meaning i have to pluck/tweeze them every few days to keep them in shape...what can i do about this? any cream or anything?

at school, people would tease me about my red hair, so i would say its strawberry blonde.

my hair only has some blonde in it, but its mostley red, and on somedays, you cant even tell my hair has a bit of blonde.

is it red, or strawberry blonde?

It has been colored at the very top but I have really bad new growth. The color before was a little brassy. I want to completely take it out and go back to my natural color. Will this damage my hair and what should I use?

I'm mostly Asian, but since I have European ancestry, my hair isn't like an average Asian's except it's really thick. It's dark brown, but with subtle auburn and gold (natural) highlights you can see when I'm in the sun, and it's wavy.

Sometimes I get an inferiority complex seeing the perfect hair on some of my friends. . .Silky, shiny, glossy, and straight. And they wake up looking like that!

I get the urge to flatiron it straight for that sleek look, but I want to appreciate my own natural wave. It's hard when "bad hair day" isn't even in the vocabulary of some of my friends!

What look do YOU prefer? Wavy or straight?
And how long is too long to spend doing your hair?

My hair is all one length and i was noticing really bad split ends... i usally wear it up in a bun or ponytail... is that causing it?? and i use alot of hairspray on the bang area (tryin to let them grow).. will that stun the growth? Thanks for any help at all

I have really long hair with highlights in it. I seem to always have it up in a messy bun or a high ponytail with a jaw clip. I don't want in getting in my face, so I always have it up unless I'm washing it. Well, I've heard that guys prefer women's hair to be long, and the shortest just up to your shoulders. . .Just asking out of curiousity to see what people really have to say.

I'm referring to hair that is cut above your shoulders (which I don't even think is that short, but some of my guy friends do), or shorter.
