Don't shampoo and condition at the same time you should shampoo first shampoo is ment more for the scalp gently messag it on the scalp and the suds will go into your hair washing it. conditioner is for the hair not the scalp gently apply conditioner to naturaly hanging hair vigorusly will damage hair.
you can wash hair to much your produces natural oil wich is realy good for it. Wash only when you need definatly not 2 times a day and i wouldn't go longer than a week.
also for drying the best is to let it dry without a hair drayer but if you must use a hair drayer before your hair is completly dry put your hair dryer on cool the heat will dry out your hair as well.
someone else made a good point don't have a hot shower cooler showers are better for both hair and skin. and are lot more relaxing.

Yes you should use both, no you should not be shampooing too often and twice a day is definitely too far.
You strip all the protective oils out of it by washing too often, and you may well be pulling out excess hair at the time too.
How often depends on how oily your scalp is, and to some degree how you style it. Some styles look better with slightly dirty hair, but a greasy, slimy mess is never good looking.
You should also use a gentle product but no one brand is best because for some reason (not sure anyone really knows) different people find they like the way one product leaves their hair that may be different than someone else, plus for some reason, switching products every few months seems to make it better too (I've heard this is a wive's tale but try it..it does seem to work).
You can wet your hair and just use conditioner and skip the shampoo occasionally, but how often again depends on how oily or dry your hair is.
I also use a deep conditioner once a week.
There's no one pat answer that works for everyone.

After your daily morning bathe, wash your hair with shampoo by using following the course at the back of the bottle..then final of all you employ the conditioner and rinse nicely.. you need to use it daily in case you employ a daily clarifying shampoo and conditioner. in case you elect to apply it on an identical time, it is accomplished in case you purchase the shampoo with the conditioner already blended at the same time in one bottle.. in many cases some human beings wash their hair another 2 days yet take daily showers...

i've heard you should wash your hair only every-other day (although no one does that). Once when I was camping I didn't wash my hair for a week!! I have to say that after the first couple days of oily hair, the oiliness went away and my hair was actually shiny and looked real healthy. i think overuse of shampoo can strip your scalp of natural oils and just leaves a residue. if you wash your hair that much you should probably use a real mild shampoo like baby shampoo.

since i am in a tropical area, i wash my hair everyday. i use shampoo everyday as well as conditioner. but not twice a day coz it will make ur hair dry. i read once that in order to make ur hair healthier dont just stick with one brand of shampoo. use different ones. i do this i use like 5 different shampoos.

Ummm try using shampoo & conditioner once a day.
Overuse cannot damage hair but it can make it extremely greasy and that is really gross.
Hope this helps, lol.

well use them every day, but you only need to put conditioner on the ends of your hair.i usually leave the conditioner on for about five minutes after the shampoo has being washed off

You should wash your hair everyday. Apply conditioner to the ends only. So they won't split.
