It has been colored at the very top but I have really bad new growth. The color before was a little brassy. I want to completely take it out and go back to my natural color. Will this damage my hair and what should I use?

As a barber, I agree with the the other hair pro. The only way you'll have "virgin" hair again is to not put chemicals on the new growth. As opposed to stripping, it will be easier (read "less damaging") to your hair to have your ends dyed to match your natural colour coming in with the new growth.

well your hair will never be virgin again unless you cut all the color off and start of once a product is put on that's it ,,go to your stylist tell her what you want they can either strip the color with color remove leaves u with no color or put on color on ur hair that matches your natural hair color I would not suggest u doing this yourself

There is a strong product you can use - I forget its name, but it's available at the Sally's chain. It's not good for your hair, but won't wreck it either. You could call them.
