When you press your hair it is still natural. Natural just means no chemicals. Pressing is just a method of straightning the hair without the use of chemicals. If you shampoo your hair it will go back to the curly state. You still want to use a deep conditioner after a pressing comb has been used, the heat is more intense or just as intense as chemically relaxing the hair, just not permanent..........

If you use a straightening comb it usually only lasts until the next time you wash it if you don't have a perm. A straightening comb doesn't permanently straighten your hair, perms do. If you've had a perm before, and you don't have any new growth yet, then it might stay straight longer. If you've never had a perm or you do have new growth then the next time you wash your hair you'll have to straighten it again. It usually isn't good to use a straightening comb if you've had perms because it could take your hair out if you use it too much.
