Leave it alone unless you want it to all fall out. I did the same thing to my hair. I got chunky blond highlights and gradually lightened it. It look lots of time and money and basically wrecked my hair. Another time (yes, I am a glutton for punishment) I had the color stripped out. Basically I'm STILL growing my hair and cutting it every 8 weeks to get some healthy growth. Just leave it alone, condition it and trim it as it goes out. Or get some highlights to the new growth wont be as drastic.

I would save up and get it done professionally. It is the only way to guarantee the colour you will turn!!
My friend dyed her blonde hair black, decided she hated it (bless her, it did look pretty bad!!) and tried removing it with some stuff she bought in Superdrug that was for this purpose. She went from black to a reddy colour to a dirty, muddy green colour!! In the end she went to the hairdressers and they sorted it out for her.

At Sally's or anyother beauty supply store they sell dye for dark haired people with one application it will be blonde again. But make sure you buy the kind for dark hair going to blonde.

you might wanna trying getting a 2-step blonding kit. Also try to find a bottle or tube of "red out"..this may help.. The red out will help you not to have "a reddish hue" to you blonde hair

You'll just have to redye it blond and wait for your roots to grow out. Or you can try washing it with regular shampoo twice a day hopefully to fade the browns out.
