i hair use too be straight and sikly from day i born to before 2 yrs...........but now in this 2 yrs my hair have be dry and wavy or u can say unhealhtly....pls give me some home remedies for my hair

Which is better? Sometimes I wash my hair in cold water, sometimes in warm. But it is unsure which temperature (cold or warm) is best for the hair and why.

I use a hair straightener because I have very wavy hair. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to last long. Can anybody recommend some inexpensive products that straighten one's hair and/or some other tips? Thanks!

He has ALOT of hair, wears it in a ponytail/fro, and gets it braided. We press it ocasionaly, not very much though. It is very dry and we are having trouble keeping it healthy looking and soft. We are not intrested in perms or any other chemical treatments. We thought that simple leave in treatments would help but, all the ones we have used haven't helped much. His hair is THICK and LONG and VERY CURLY! He dosn't want it to feel heavy but, we want it to be soft. whatever you guys think is a good idea please let me know!

Would you rather have long hair that was a bit thin at the last 2-3 inches with some split ends that even regular trims won't get rid of or shorter hair that will probably look thicker the ends and hopefully have nearly no split ends?

My hair is the longest it's ever been. (just above or at bra strap) I usually wear it up. When I do wear it down, curly (thanks again, meds), I can see those split ends and it drives me CRAZY. I obsess and spend lots of time searching and clipping.

I was on meds that affected my hair and caused it to thin out. It's thicker at the regrowth, but the 1-1/2 - 2" at the ends feel a lot thinner and that is where I see the split ends.

I'm having trouble getting over the cutting my hair hurdle.

Any help out there?

I'm seeing a lot of resistance to this idea through a yahoo search and it didn't occur to me until then that the idea of a white woman having dreads would be offensive to some folks. I'd still like to have them, though, b/c they're easy to care for as I understand it, and they look beautiful. On that note, please do not respond w/opinions on whether or not a white gal should have dreads: helpful information on how I might grow them only, please. Thanks!

I just swiched shops and i left my licence when I was moving. I went back to my old shop a few days later to get it and it was gone! My old boss says a guy who kept harssing me while i worked there had been in a few days after I had left and was pretty upset to find out i nolonger worked there. She had seen my licence before he had come in but now its gone! We all supect the guy cuz its well known he really hates me! I know I can call state board to get a new on but is it some type of offence? Can I get this guy locked up or something?

Am I the only person who thinks blonde hair isnt so hot anymore?? I think it lost its novelty when
1. People with light brown hair started calling it blonde
2. When people started FREAKING COLORING THEIR HAIR BLONDE
3. when people who werent natural blondes said they were
4. when 75% of the girls in the school had blonde hair.
