Which is better? Sometimes I wash my hair in cold water, sometimes in warm. But it is unsure which temperature (cold or warm) is best for the hair and why.

Thanks in advance!

Wash with warm.
Condition your hair and rinse with cool water(not the cologne)!
Rinsing with cool water closes the cuticle allowing the conditioner to remain in the hair and do it's job!

Wash in Warm to clean off all of the residue and then condition, let the conditioner seep into your hair -- if you get the greasies then only go for the ends (tips) and let sit for about 3-5 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm and then finish w/ cold as it will close the cuticles of your hair making it shine.

It depends on what type of hair you have. I have to wash my hair in cold water because I have curly frizzy hair. Washing your hair in warm water makes it more vuknerable to frizzing. If you dont have naturally frizzy hair then you should problably wash it in warm because warm water kills bacteria in your hair more than cold water.,

Top answer is right. I was once a hairdresser too. But if you ever have time..like on a weekend when you arent in a rush.. dry your hair in front of a fan or air conditioner. Wow..makes your hair sooo soft and shiny. A little crazy at first..but once it lays down..feels like satin.
