I have long curly hair too and i have been in your position before. First off, stay away frmo the chains like Great Clips. They do a crappy job, dont know how to take care of or cut curly hair, and they are given a limit of time that they have to cut your hair. I go to an upscale salon where the hairdressers actually know what they are doing. I dont live in your area but i would try to find a more upscale place. Its more expensive obviously but they actually know what they are doing.
