I wanted to get blonde highlights I was wondering if it will look bad b/c i dont want it to look nasty (blonde and almost black)? I think the dark brown #4 will eventually get lighter but i just wanted to know if anyone knows about hair color, by the way when they dyed my hair it left dark spots on my skin "tips please on how to remove"

I really want to try highlights for the first time but I am afraid this will really dry my hair out since curly hair is already dry. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with this?

I just dyed my sister's hair yesterday; an auburn type color, and I was wondering when it would be alright to wash it, or at least wet it so it doesnt look crappy all day. thanks

ok, so i have this ceramic hair straightener i bought at walmart for like $17. It straightens my hair pretty well, but not perfectlly, because after, say, a half hour or so, it gets a little curly at the ends, and it REALLY annoys me, because i want PIN STRAIGHT hair. I have been looking through previous questions that have been asked about hair straighteners, and i have realized that many people recommended the CHI hair straightener. I wanted to know, if anybody has this hair straightener, and thinks it could make my hair stop from curling after a little while, and if it could make my hair pin straight, the way i have always wanted it? please, i would really appreciate it.

I just dyed my hair yesterday, a very cute blonde color of course. And I was wondering, how long should I wait to wash it? And if I should in fact wait, could I at least wet it so I dont look gross today. Thanks for the help!!

Which way do you think it looks better or does it make a difference? In the summertime I try to airdry because I know it is better for your hair but it is hard when I wash my hair everyday.... so somedays I have to go to work with a wet head...... takes forever to dry.....I can't wash the night before because once I sleep on my hair it looks awful.... does anyone else have these problems?

I have long extremely thick hair. I try to get a trimmed up and thinned out on a regular bases but it is so stinking dry. I was thinking about a V05 hot oil treatment. I just want it to look healthy again.

through, then you abruptly tear it off, but do you fear this tearing off stage of waxing? I think the anticipation of the forthcoming pain is horrible?

I'm going grey really fast and I'm not quite ready for my cronehood, so I asked DH to pick up a hair dye when he went to the shops earlier. Last time we tried this about 6 months ago, we got one that was almost exactly the same colour as my hair and just covered up the grey nicely. However, he had a funny moment and came back with one of these kits that you do a darker base colour than either pull a shower cap with holes in it over your head and paint in highlights, or you use what looks like a mascara brush to put in the highlights.

I've been persuaded to use the damn thing, but I'm gripped with terror. Which method of putting the stripes in is less likely to leave me stripey?

I have longish, wavy red hair and this kit is a slightly darker red than normal with slightly lighter highlights. I know it won't look 'natural' but I want it to look as natural as possible. I trust him to use the kit properly, but hints would be handy
