I have curly hair and have had the same problems.
What I normally do is wash it and towel dry a little bit then blow dry, but not too much as it starts to frizz up & scrunch up, so its kind of damp but not soaking wet.
Like you if I leave it wet it takes the whole morning to dry out so this way at leasts it cuts it down. I don't like to blow dry as it gives me split ends so I only do it during winter mainly to dry my head/scalp rather than my hair (my hair is long, past the shoulder) so I don't catch a cold.

I have curly hair and in the summer I have to let it air dry. I blow dry it to damp in the winter. Sometimes this means you are cold for a few hours but beauty is painful. If I don't wash mine everyday it has to be if I am just staying at home that day. I am really self concious about going out without my hair done. You know how frizzy it is when it doesn't have any product in it.

I always air dry it and personally, I think it looks great wet so I have no problem with it being wet. When I blow dry it, it gets way to dry. You have to figure out what is best for you hair. No 2 people have the same here, I wish I could help, but all I can say is experiment, try new things and good luck.

I have curly hair and i hate blow drying it. No matter how hard i try it always gets frizzy when i blow dry it. So Ive stuck with just air drying it. If i take a bath at night i put my wet hair in a loose ponytail along with a little bit of frizz serum and sleep on it, most of the time it still looks good.

YES! it WAS a major problem of mine. I know it's not easy having curly hair. Everyday, I was also at the shower wetting my hair to make it look somewhat decent for work. In the winter, I was outside w/ damp hair which wasn't good. I finally straightened my hair. You should probably try the Japanese hair straightening. it's a permanent straight. it will not curl up when you wash your hair. you just need to retouch the new growth about once or twice a year. I live in NY, so there's lots of places that do the Japanese straightening. If you don't want to straighten your hair, maybe try different hair styles where you can probably put it up in a pony tail or bun or clips. i think blow drying everyday is not good for the hair.

I airdry my hair even in the winter time. The heat of the blow dryer can really damage and frizz your hair. I put a hair serum like Frizz Ease or Paul Mitchell in my hair first, then I use Pureology brand Real Curl - Curl Define Creme. Then I put my hair in a tight fitting head band and let it air dry. Once it is dry I take off the head band and style.

Yes I do have this problem! My curly hair looks best when I dry it with a diffuser, but in the mornings that takes to long! So I wash it the night before, which I'm like you, I wake up and it looks horrid, so I spray it down with a water bottle until its just damp. Then I use the diffuser, it takes all of 5 minutes and my curls look great! Try that, it works! :)

oh yes, I have those problems every day!!! I have been growing my hair from very short and it is almost chin level now and the curls are mad, sometimes they look great, other times they look awful! I let mine air dry then put a little mousse in it and dry it very briefly with a diffuser. It just seems to work better that way for me and means that I don't have to go to work with wet hair.

I have naturally wavey hair and I let it dry naturally because it's better for your hair and it keeps the body in it better, but I just bought a new product from fructis called curl shapening (or something like that) and it works really well. It gives your hair a beautiful curl. It's real easy to use too because you just spray it in and crunch your hair and it looks great! So you can wash it at night (like I do) and then get up in the morning put the curling solution in and it will look beautiful for you to go to work. God Bless!

Totally exactly the same problem.
I can let it dry naturally when on holiday as for some reason the heat and humidity make it look quite cool. Otherwise it's blow dry upside down every time with lot's of product like coconut oil!
It's a nightmare and straight hair girls just don't understand!!!
