But a product called Hair Silk( about $4)....found at most retailers and hair salons ( a lot more expensive about $12). After you rub it into your hair, rub your hands together....it makes them silky smooth also. Its great!

The one I buy is Silk Therapy by Biosilk found at Wallet World....oops that Walmart.

Try some of the less expensive shampoos and conditioners. Just because they are expensive does not mean they are better. I have also had some people tell me that they use mane shampoo for horses. You can find it at stores like Wal Mart. I buy mine at The $ store and I have great hair.

If you don't have soft water, try some baking soda, about a half a hand full, This strips the hard water from your hair and makes it softer.

idk if your hair is damaged or not but it it is put green tea in it which will boost your level of antioxidants and make your hair silky. if your hair has not been damaged try getting a product made for silky and shiny hair like a serum or a shampoo... i would recommend Citre Shine(look in drugstores) for silky shiny hair.
