Hey, I used to be a severe nail-biter, but I've since stopped myself from that... However I still have very short nails (the pink part). I've let them grow out a bit now, because I heard that the nails will eventually "recover" and the pink area will return... but is this true? How can I fix this, if there is a way?

I want to dye a bit of my fringe blonde, like platinum blonde, it's already a bit blonde from the hairdresser but not light enough.

I bought a packet of bleaching powder from the beauty store but I'm confused on how to use it. Do I just mix it with water? Do I need to add something else? Help

I take Thyroid tablets. There is no redness or sores. I don't use hairspray, and it doesn't matter whst shampoo and conditioner I use. I wash my hair nearly every day, and rinse twice. I use conditioner every time. Any clues or ideas?

ok. i'm 14 years old and my mom has friends getting married and we're all going to the wedding. they are asian and there will also be a tea ceramony thing or something.
it is later this month and i have no idea what to wear to an asian wedding (is it a different tradition or something?)
my mom said i could wear my dress from last year's 8th grade semi formal...but that is silver and sparkly all over and VERY short...i deffinately do NOT want to look like a slu* going to their wedding
and is the tea ceramony also dressy? or casual?
i don't have any other dresses and my mom probably isn't going to let me buy an exspensive one becuase i'll probably never wear it again lol. so help me think of something please...something not too expensive and cute for a teenage girl?

Ok well I was at Spencer's Gifts and was looking at some cool stuff. Anyways, I guess a fluffy key chain got caught on my shirt (static cling) because when I walked out, the alarm came out. Mall security was there right away. They saw the key chain on me and said "Nice Try." They told me I was going to go to the police station. As they were going to handcuff me, they said "Oh look at the time, we have a 30 min break". So then they handcuffed me to a bench and said they'd be back.

About 5 mins. later, the clerk said he saw the tapes and I was free, but no guards were there to unlock me. So about an hour later, they came back and let me go.

It was so embarrassing cause hundreds of people just saw me there. Lots kept staring at me.

What can I do!?

I have very dark brown hair and would like a true light brown color WITHOUT BRASSY RED TONES. I found the Wella Creme color I would like to use but I don't know what volume developer to use or how much. I am looking to get either the Wella Dark Blonde or Sunlight blonde in 2 oz. sizes. Is this enough for a whole head application? My hair is about 4 inches below my shoulder. Also I have only found 1 place on the web that sells these products to non-licensed individuals and that is beautyclicks.com. Unfortunately their offering of developers is very meager. Does anyone know of another site with a larger variety? Does it matter what developer you use and is Wella good for true color results when compared to the swatch? Thanks!

I got my hair done (yay I'm blonde now) on Thursday. BUT I've notice scabs (3 so far) on my head on friday. I'm guessing Bleach burn.

I got one in the front of my head like a little ways into my hair. The others are going into the back. The main one (and first I've notice) is in the back (few inches away from my neck).

It's like half off (u can get under it) BUT the rest is stuck in place. now even though I could just slowly pill(sp) them off. But I'm betting they'll start bleeding & i'll run the risk of getting them infected.

So any ideas on how to get rid of them?
