I take Thyroid tablets. There is no redness or sores. I don't use hairspray, and it doesn't matter whst shampoo and conditioner I use. I wash my hair nearly every day, and rinse twice. I use conditioner every time. Any clues or ideas?

That would happen to me every year starting in the fall. no outward signs of skin breaking out just itch itch itch. I used Denorex shampoo to control the itching.

It seems that the coal tar in the shampoo was the ingredient that gave me the most relief.

After I moved to Florida the problem went away

you may be washing too much. I know this probably sounds strange, but hear me out. Everytime you wash your hair, you are stripping the natural oils out of your hair, and off your scalp. There is nothing you can get in a bottle that is as good as the oil you produce. So it may just be dry scalp (and that is NOT the same thing as dandruff). If you can try for a while to wash every other day, see if this helps at all...
Of course it could be the tablets. May want to chat with the dr about that, and see what he/she has to say.
Good Luck
