I have black hair, and i want to dye the bottom part (underneath) blue.
is this a good idea?

I am trying to find a "first" make up set for my niece who is turning ten. She is in drill team. I was looking for something with light colors - like lip gloss and eyeshadows, but i can't seem to find something between little girls and adult make up. anyone have any ideas for something for a pre-teen, just something tasteful and inexpensive.

im going to my friends birthday party tommorow.
its going to be outdoors in the 90's.
i have thick brown hair thats kind of poofy.
that is why i straighten my hair so it looks nice.
but if im going to be outside for 4 hours i want to control it.
esspecially cause theres going to be boys and girls from my school.

Sry about reposting this question but i got no real good answers. Ok so i lost this huge bet to my friends (who are girls of course)and now, i have to go to the mall with them and get a stuff for a makeover which some of my friends are going to do and they want me to ask people what they should get me at sephora, victoria secrets, and AE. i just had to cut my hair because i damaged it really badly last year by trying to go blonde. so i have to cut it often because its so unhealthy. but now its short. (used to be about 3 or 4 inches pat my shoulders, now its only 1 or 2) its also quite multi colored from all the dyeing i did to it (mostly in the hairdressers) to try and remove the blonde. now it looks horrible. i also have a side fringe/ bangs whatever you want to call it. that starts reallyyyyyy far back and looks horrible. and i look realllllly young. so how can i look better. i cant go hairdressers again. but what can i do myself? thanks.

I would like anyone to explain to me why clothes at a high end store (like Ann Taylor, Carsons, Macy's and so on) are any better than clothes you could find at other stores (like Target, Old Navy, Kohls, Sears or so on).

Are materials like rayon, nylon, cotton, and the like any different in a high end store?

Clothes don't fit me any better in a high end store than a moderately priced store...is there any difference there?

Is there a difference in the way the clothes are made that justifies a $20 to $50 price difference in just a blouse?

Personally I think too many people are obssessed with brand names and they are like cattle blindly walking to the slaughter paying exhorbitant prices for clothing that is thin, overly delicate, too easily worn out.

They follow idiots in Hollywood that have too much money for their own good to make sensible decisions about clothing prices.
