Did *anyone* think they were a good idea? Now, thong underwear and swimwear, fine. But lycra shorts and then a thong leotard on top? Why??

I am doing a project at college on the 1980s.I am designing clothes but associating it with the 80s influences! Basically What i need you to do is give me a list of things that reminds you or you had/wore, did in the 80s. Well I don't go shopping much so I wanted to buy a couple outfits. I've been to stores such as Target, the quality is good but even if it is considered "cheap" it is still slightly expensive to me because I can only buy about 3 outfits and I end up spending $80+. I'm thinking of going to either Ross, Marshalls or TJ Maxx. What is the price range for these stores (you don't have to name everything just an ideal price for anything)? Also what store do you reccomend that doesn't have "poor" quality clothes per say but is cheap? I'm on a budget of spending about $150. Thanks.

I know that everybody has different levels of pain that they can or can't handle BUT can someone describe to me what its REALLY like to get a tattoo?......I've had 2 babies without any assistance whatsoever so I know what THAT kind of pain is like...but I know tattoo pain is different.....any answers will be greatly appreciated from those who have experienced it! My divorce will be final in 2 weeks and I am thinking a tattoo will be some...'closure' and 'new beginning' for me...still can't decide what I want but am thinking about having it put on lower stomach/hip area....its something I have thought about for a long time.....thanks! No silly answers would be nice.... :)

I have wanted to dye a thin bottom layer of my hair pink for a long time. I haven't been able to find the correct shade to do it with. The only one I can come across is this one from Hot Topic:

I begin school Thursday, and I want to have it done by then. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make the shade lighter. What if I left it in for a shorter time span, or added another ingredient to it. I don't want the color to look horrible though. I am also using a semi-permanent, because I have very light hair naturally, practically platnium blonde. So I do want it to fade over time, within a few months. I don't want it to leave behind a nasty residue forever.

my feet are big and in some areas fat, my pinky toe is deformed. there isn't any support for the side of the nail so it grows weird. my second to the last fingers and pinkies are funny looking. they don't look manly. i want to make it so they do.

so is it possible to get surgery like this? for people under 18? how much do you think it would cost?

So... I'm not all that big on wearing makeup, But I work in a restaraunt now and started wearing it more. I've always worn pencil liner on the inside of my lower lid, but I really like the look of eyeliner on your top eyelid. My question is, how the heck do you apply it?? I have both liquid and pencil liner, but every time I try to do it it comes out all shaky. how do you make it straight? I really like the look of liquid, I just cant get it too look right. Is there some secret I am missing?

i'm getting a 5 hour backpiece done soon and i can't decide if i should tip or not. he's charging $120 an hour. alot of my friends say i don't need to worry about tipping since the artist figures that into how much he's charging.

l have large white flakes, they don't flake like dandruff, though. It's like crusty deposits, or, buildup on my scalp. I have tried using every different kind of shampoo out there for dandruff, seborrhic dermatitis and even psoriasis. Can anyone relate or tell me how to treat this?

i seen some questions on here about the "socks with sandles" issue, one thing I have not seen, I see cholo's or low lifes (gangbangers) wearing socks with sandles. I think that is more of a trend, I guess it makes them look more tough. I do not find the logic in that, it just looks silly. BUT, maybe its that they have nasty looking feet or bad toes, as may go with the rest of the population. hmm, it has been a true mystery.

What do you find works best for you? I do my shaving and facial cleaning while in the shower (shaving in the shower works great, btw). I generally apply some sort of after shave when I get out of the shower, to stave off irritation from shaving. Though I am conflicted. Is it best to apply after shave or any sort of facial lotion while the face is still wet, or to pat dry or air dry face first, then apply the after shave or facial lotion?
