sure, cheerleading is a interest. i'm sick of all and sundry making those snarky comments approximately "all celebrity cheer is a interest yet sideline isn't..." EXCUSE ME, yet do you already know how plenty extra college cheer is than cheering at soccer and basketball video games? We prepare day and evening, perfecting workouts that no person could desire to ever memorize on a similar time as hyperventilating from nonstop circulate. Did I point out we do flips and stunts that ninety 9% of people could desire to by no capacity study? Oh ya we additionally circulate to camp the place we cheer for 13 HOURS an afternoon.... and we compete against different squads. And as for activities video games, i'm sorry, yet could desire to you yell chants out of your abdomen, hit tight motions making your palms sore, do sky intense jumps and tumbling.. each and every 10 SECONDS??? For over an hour right this moment!!! All with a grin on your face in an uncomfortable uniform!!! study that to different activities the place they get the remainder of SITTING ON A BENCH. If I pay attention one extra voice tell me cheerleading isn't a interest, so help me, yet you have no longer any theory.

Yeah cheerleading is definitely a sport. One of my friends in high school was a cheerleader. The things that she could do looked so physically demanding.

How is it not a sport? It may not be an olympic sport any time soon, but it does require discipline, practice, and dedication like the other sports do. It requires team work. Its very much a sport.

IT SURE THE HELL IS!!!
Just like any sport, cheerleaders have uniforms, they have to practice, they have competitions, there is the possibility of getting hurt, and you have to try out just like you would for a sports team...
Not to mention the physical demands!

Of corse cheerleading is just as strenuous as you get a work out. Anybody that thinks its not a sport, tell them to try it for an hour or so.

I would say so. The gymnastics that cheerleaders do these days give a pretty good workout.

I say yes and I believe cheerleaders are amazing athletes. They train so hard to get into shape and to be able to do the jumps and stunts, etc.

Yes!
Wow, some of the moves are SO impressive.
It's not like someone could just walk off the street and go and do it.
It takes skill.
