My hair was like that too, a week ago I went to the store and got Pantene Pro-V Always Smooth shampoo and conditioner, I thought it wouldn't work because my hair was dry and I wasn't really concerned with "smoothness" but in the first wash I could totally tell the difference.

On my hair, blow drying it always makes it dryer. Try towel drying and consider getting some deep conditioning products.

Well you have not given the full details like whether it is plain or curly, long or short, thick or thin. Anyways, in any case there is one common remedy that is to use henna or mehandi.
One more remedy is to mix few spoons of fresh curd with one spoon of mustard oil and massage it deep into your scalp with warm and soft hands(donot rub vigoursly), keep it for 10 minutes and wash your hair. Dry your hair with a soft towel and repeat the process upto one week regularly without break. Your hair texture will show promising results. Your hair will also start shining if you include few lemon drops in the mixture. This can also be used to remove dandruff permanentally. My grandma used to apply this mixture on my hair and now people say I have a beautiful long hair.

1. First of all make sure you drink lots of milk and water. Also eat lots of fruit and veg.

2. Invest in a good leave in conditioner and use in once every 3-4 days. (i use a toni and guy one which is excellent)

3. If you straighten your hair a lot try and cut down. Maybe have your hair up till it is in better condition to style.

4. Take a vitimin tablet once a day.

I know this as i had terrible dry hair from dying it and straightening it so much. From following these rules my hair is now in great condition.

1. Beat an egg in a cup of skimmed milk. When the foam becomes consistent, rub it into the scalp. Leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly with water. Carry out this routine twice a week.

2. Take a cup of coconut milk and add two tablespoons of gram flour or one teaspoon of shikakai. Apply on your scalp and hair and massage gently. Rinse it out after five minutes. Follow this recipe at least once a week.

Go to a salon and discuss with them the different treatments available. Everyone's hair is different so your dry hair may need something different than mine.
Also, sometimes, if you're lacking certain vitamins and nutrients in your diet you can end up with dry hair. Perhaps a trip to your doctor will give you some answers.

Use shampoo and conditioer for dry hair. Use a hair treatment / mask once a week and leave it on as much as you can before you rinse it. Use leve-in conditioners which you don't need to rinse out. Keep away from blow dryers cos they dry your hair further. Use high-gloss serums like Keune gloss serum.

Wash your hair with a quarter sized amount of good smelling shampoo.
Condition the bottoms of your hair only, the very tips. Leave it in for 2 minutes.
Rinse all the suds out.
Brush your hair and style it how you want. Don't use a lot of gel. It makes it look greasy unless it's a creamy gel.
Blow dry or let it air dry by itself.
I straighten my hair I dunno about you but I use Bio Silk its so good you just need a small amount makes your hair soft and shinny apply to your hair when wet
For shampoo I use anything that has a conditioner and it works really well the bio silk gives protection for damage as well

Try putting some olive oil on your hair and leaving it there.

Hint: The natural oil seals in moisture!
