i seen some questions on here about the "socks with sandles" issue, one thing I have not seen, I see cholo's or low lifes (gangbangers) wearing socks with sandles. I think that is more of a trend, I guess it makes them look more tough. I do not find the logic in that, it just looks silly. BUT, maybe its that they have nasty looking feet or bad toes, as may go with the rest of the population. hmm, it has been a true mystery.

They nickname they call them in Australia is a Westie in Sydney or a Bogan in Melbourne (Australia) Socks with flip flops are called Westie or Bogan ugg boots. lol It's not ever good to be labeled as a Westie or Bogan in OZ. Maybe you could suggest to someone wearing Westie ugg boots to put on a flannelet shirt too then they will have the whole look down pact. lol

I live in Eureka Ca. where the weather is like eternal spring time. Most every morning it is foggy and cold so it is common to see us Eurekiens wearing sox or stockings with our open toed shoes We also wear sweaters or jackets over our tank tops until the weather warms up as the day goes on. We call it "layering"
