my feet are big and in some areas fat, my pinky toe is deformed. there isn't any support for the side of the nail so it grows weird. my second to the last fingers and pinkies are funny looking. they don't look manly. i want to make it so they do.

so is it possible to get surgery like this? for people under 18? how much do you think it would cost?

If you believe your differences to be severe deformities, see a doctor. Under 18? That's ridiculous. Men do not stop growing ON AVERAGE until they are 25 and some can grow until they reach 30.
As for your pinky toe, you may actually have an issue there, although it is an extremely common genetic abnormality, it can lead to severe problems in older age.
If you're so worried about these things, see a doctor to make sure that your hands and feet are receiving the proper care they need to develop properly.

Personally I would accept the way that you were. I am sure that there is some cosmetic surgery that could be done. Since you are a guy and under 18, did you know that your bones are still growing? Maybe there is more shaping you up naturally yet, so don't think about going under the knife too soon! Yes, it could be very expensive since it is elective surgery for cosmetic reasons. My pinky toes are weird too, Some are just that way naturally.

I have to agree that you should wait-your body is still changing. Also, have you considered that you have perfectly functional hands and feet now (at least, you didn't say otherwise) but there is a risk, however small, that complications from the surgery could make them painful, deformed and/or even uglier than they are now. Look at some of the problems women have had because they obsessed about their perfectly acceptable breasts. Take some time and think it over.

Surgery can be done on anything these days. Consider this though, is it worth being cut into just for the way something looks? If it isn't painful & causes no problem, why be concerned about it?

If you want to check into having something done, visit an orthopedist who specialized in hands and/ or feet. Find a specialist because a general orthodedist isn't who you need to work with. They can tell you what can be done, costs & potential hazards. Remember that messing w/ your feet & hands is risky because you need them so much & any time you cut into a body part, there will be nerve damage.

Ha!!!! I say do not hassle approximately it. however the reality of the difficulty is... at 6' a million", I even have small ft (9 a million/2 - 10 reckoning on the shoe). I used to get comments approximately it each and all the time, and that i could purchase longer shoes and stuff the ft so as that that they had in superb condition. yet via the time I hit 30, I end annoying approximately it, as i stumbled on that if my pants, slacks, and trousers did not cling too low on the foot, they did not look so small. Now whilst some gal asks, I in basic terms say that what my ft are lacking is made up for someplace else greater significant.

The surgery costs thousands per hand and foot. You may be looking at 40,000+ just for surgery and more for physical therapy, etc.

Who besides you is so critical of your feet and hands? Does it run in your family?

Forget the surgery, you are still growing and you will have to deal with a lot of soft tissue stuff which is very painful. If you are that concerned, see a doctor about it now. It may be possilbe to straighten your fingers with a splint and physical therapy instead of surgery.

Have you considered medical treatment and surgical help for this in India? My cousin got her surgery from a company called Forerunners Healthcare in India.
She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines. I have read a lot of their patient stories also. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as all types of medical treatment and surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that your medical treatment and surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Unless you plan on being a hand and feet model or you are in pain. I wouldnt worry about it. You could use the money on better things like bike, video games, maybe buying a car.

you would have to consult a plastic surgeon and maybe a orthopedic surgeon, I have no clue on the cost and they will probably wait until you are done growing(around 20 to even start)
