Well I don't go shopping much so I wanted to buy a couple outfits. I've been to stores such as Target, the quality is good but even if it is considered "cheap" it is still slightly expensive to me because I can only buy about 3 outfits and I end up spending $80+. I'm thinking of going to either Ross, Marshalls or TJ Maxx. What is the price range for these stores (you don't have to name everything just an ideal price for anything)? Also what store do you reccomend that doesn't have "poor" quality clothes per say but is cheap? I'm on a budget of spending about $150. Thanks.

Actually it's more like $90+ on the above.

You should definitely try Ross.

Everything here is 15 dollars

This site has very low priced items

and there are usually great deals in the sale section here.

Thrift stores. Most stores sell most items under $5. You can find recent things, "retro" things and things that will just make you you. I agree with Target. Compared to other stores, they're "cheap", but I also consider them a bit pricey, as I'm just cheap myself. Although, I did find a a pair of maternity pants that were about $25 for only $6. The clearance racks have some good prices, but the sizes are always what works. (Actually, the pants are a little short, but I'm six feet tall and I literally needed the pants, so I bought them. Ironically, they're the most expensive things I've bought in awhile. But since I hope that this isn't my only pregnancy, I will save them for the next one.)

Anyway, I hope this helps. I plan on hitting a local thrift store today and/or tomorrow in search for some pajama sets with button tops. I have plenty of pants and old Ts and sweatshirts, but the button tops will make nursing easier, especially if we're visiting my parents on the in-laws or I just don't get dressed and somebody pops in.

I've also heard that places like consignment shops work well as well as Craigs List ( www.craigslist.com ) and eBay. However, I like thrift stores because they are non-profit and the money goes to good causes.

Forever 21 has horrible quality, you might only get 5 wears out of something, because it starts to fall apart Hollister is decent, you'll get one good season(for example, a shirt might last you all summer, if you wear it once every week to two weeks) out of it, maybe two. As for Tommy, the stuff in the Juniors department will last you a season, maybe too. You do have to pay a lot of money to find good quality, lasting clothes. I shop at places like Express and Gap. The stuff is pretty decent and I hand wash a lot of my clothes, so they last a bit longer. The really good stuff, comes from stores like Lord & Taylor or even a place like White House Black Market. That stuff will last you a couple seasons, if you take care of it.
