CONGRATS

A plain baking soda and water mask is by far the best you can do for acne prone skin. Mix a water and baking soda in a cup until the consistancy of a thinner paste. Pat on face (do not rub) and let sit till it hardens then rinse off. This has done miracles for my sensitive acne prone skin!! Plus it's all natural! Sometimes I add a few drops of tea tree oil too.Can use without tea tree oil.Can use as a spot treatment .Will reduce redness and you will barely notice the pimples.

RAW EGG
Crack egg whisk and apply to skin leave for 15 to 20 minutes.Smells and feels weird but you see iand feel it working after the first use.

Aloe Vera Plant
cut off a piece and squeeze the goopy gel inside and apply to skin.It lightens and fades scars while fighting and preventing acne.Apply before bed let dry[2-3 min tops]and sleep with it on soft glowing skin in the morning.

honey (1 tsp) with 1/2 (tsp) of cinnamon powder. Apply for 15 minutes. Due to the antiseptic properties, bacterial infections in the skin are treated.

Big changes happen

since you smoke that much everyday, your body got adjusted having these poisons running ur body. That's why people with more serious drug problems can actually die by quiting abruptly. You hav to take decrease your amount of cigarettes maybe every few weeks or whatever you're comfortable with. The reason why you were coughing and stuff (tryign to not smoke) was because your body was so used to having 2-5 cigarettes a day. So each week you should decrease slowly from 2-4cigarettes, then another few weeks, 2-3, then so on.

i don't think lack of tobacco use causes acne. if anything it would be the other way around. your probably stressed out from not having a cigarette and so i suppose stress can cause acne. if thats the case then it will go away after your completely free of the addiction. still the acne might not have anything to do with it.

I quit too! Way to go its not easy. No its not the cigarettes, or lack of them. You have probably been a little antsy lately and have been touching your face more, and then when you realized that you were breaking out you probably started touching it even more. Try to pay attention to where your hands are, and wash and rinse your face well before you go to bed.

no I think its ur nerves I never smoked but I know when if I ever worry or stress about something badly I get acne a little every time I think a little exercise or exausting yourself a little helps relax your mood whatever your public situation and it works wonders for my attitude much better after wards and proper sleep I take exedren P.M ever night or wont sleep good so you need something positive to replace the lack of relaxing nicotine your use to to calm u a little daily exercise will bost confidence n calm u pysically n mentally

Yeah Punkinhead! hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray! Congratulations on quitting! I don't know the science on this question, but my experience of watching so many smokers quit tells me it's not related. I have never seen even one person have this experience. It's probably just coincidence.
