Okay, so I'm a girl, and I actually love my name- Dylan. But on baby name websites and stuff, they always say that Dylan is only a boy's name. I like my name,but is it too guyish for guys to want to date me or something?

Dylan is traditionally a boys name, but it is now often used as both a girls and a guys name.
Any guy that won't date you because of your name is completely worth not dating.

I don't personally know anyone named Dylan, but I've heard of it used in a feminin way. I think it's totally cute and I think of a little baby girl when I think of the name Dylan instead of boy.. Lol. I'm sure guys wouldn't mind dating a girl with a name that can be for a guy a girl; what about Jo, Erin, Jay, lol. Atleast your name isn't Bruce, or something.. Haha.

I've never thought of it as a girls name..but now that I am, I think it actually makes a really nice name for a girl! and no way is it too guyish for guys to want to date you! I'm sure that's one of the last things a guy cares about, and if they did care about the names of girls...I'm sure they'd be fine with that name : )

Dylan Rocks! It is so cool,Even though it is commonly known for being a boys name.It does stands out for a girl but,that is what makes it so unique for you. Shakes things up and is more interesting.I bet, alot of people asks you about your name? More like expecting the normal but, getting the unexpected.Not boring at all, Work your name girl! It's true I only know guys named Dylan. So I don't expect it to be a girl name. BUT it's up to you to bring the personality (feminine and fresh) that fits. No, I'm sure once guys get to know you, they'll love you regardless if your name is Dylan or Danielle or Bertha or Magdeline.

Dylan is a nice name boy or girl...on the movie Children of Men the baby girl was named Dylan...which was sweet. I wouldn't worry about it esp. if you like your name.
