Beauty & Style - 12 June 2007

When I leave my hair to air dry, it goes frizzy. When I blow dry it, it goes frizzy. When I straighten it, it goes frizzy. (You getting the idea yet??) My hair is shoulder length, quite thick and wavy-ish. I've tried many different products and methods but never manage to get non frizzy hair. Any ideas/products you could recommend? (UK). Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas please!

Anyone know of a good website with clear photographs of bridal updos? I need some pictures to take to the hair stylist. I'm getting married in Vegas (I live in Chicago) and won't be able to have a consultation ahead of time so I only get one shot to get it right!

Ok so I asked the question if the fact my 2 week, one day old Tattoo itching was a normal process and the answer I received across the board was Yes that is a normal healing process. One thing I did get conflicting answers on was if I should be still putting lotion on the tattoo. So should I still be using lotion?

ok, in the 60s, 70s, and early 80s, it was still kiind of a fringe thing—only knife wielding bikers had tattoos. now every p*ssy, soccer-mom, and frat-boy has got some kind of tribal band, tramp stamp, or some other meaningless cr*p etched into their skin....are these people sheep or what? don't i express my individuality more by NOT having ink???

when i was a kid my mother always bought dial soap, itd dry out my skin and if i continued to use it itd irritate my skin. since i normally use dove soap which works well. recently w/out thinking i purchased dials new glycerin soap w/ vitamin e. it hasnt dried my skin or irritated it, but i thought i was told once glycerin soap is not good for u. i don't remember what the reason was. is that true?

So I'm wanting to get my first ear piercing. I've seen some guys around school with a single earring on the cartilage of their left ear. (like this http://www.schmuck-piercing.de/images/div/ohr-cartilage.jpg ).

I've heard that it can get infected really easily and look disgusting. What's your recommendation?

For my friends birthday, I want to get her makeup. I have loads of bonuses at home (you know, the thing you get when you buy stuff). it has a lot of makeup and stuff and it's worth maybe 80 or so dollras..but it's a bunch of little things so I think she'll know I didn't actually pay for any of it because none of them are in boxes
is there a way I could wrap them or take them out and do something to make it look like I actually paid for something?
it's not that I'm being cheap..it's just that these make up products aren't useful to me but are to her and they do have a big value because there are lotions and all kinds of things.
