I second the expensive part. Actually, my thought was overpriced. According to the article, she wouldn't mind having a regular life without the money she and her husband gets. But then she wouldn't be able to afford shoes like that.

Also I thought they were not only ugly, but impractical for real baseball playing. But, maybe I don't know anything. I wear loafers, Chucks and K-Swiss for every day. However, if wedge shoes like that are the current trend, something similar may not be hard to find.
