How many women shave up past the knee cap?? i am 17 and never have but now i feel like i should my mum said i would regret it can anyone tell me why or is it a good idea to shave past the knee cap, the hairs are blonde and not amazingly visible but i am going on holiday in august!

It's perfectly healed. Ive had it pierced for about 6 months. a few nights ago, the ball fell off, so I took the bar out ..
I think it healed over a bit so i thought **** ... I couldn't fit my silver one in there, only my original one - the one the piercer supplied me with so it could heal.
Today it's still very sore, and slighty Gooey.
what should I do? I bathed it last night, but I don't know what else to do. It hasn't hurt this much since it was healing in January.

well, i am 12. and i have a lot of hair on my leg and i want to wax my legs cuz i want to wear skirts. but sometimes people say that we shld get our legs waxed only at the age of 15. but i want to wax them now. is it okay? i want the answers mainly from doctors or any top contributors on this topic. thanx in advance!!

My mother has lost her mind and wants she and I to get something rather than a lobe piercing done at Wal*Mart. Is this smart?!?!?I know she wont take me anywhere else for a while, so this is basically my only chance to get it done. Will WallyWorld even do a helix???

she is having her hair straightened to get rid of any frizz and afterwards she wants to put a few curls in with her curling tongs! these curls tend to fall out quite quickly..any tips for making them stay in?? hairspray perhaps??thanks :-)

It seems black women are always trying to define thier beauty and hair by caucassian standards of what beauty is. Why do black women spend so much on products to straighten their hair when their hair was never designed to be straight?

I believe by always trying to judge yourself by a different races standards you loose touch and forget just how beautuful your natural hair is.

So I have been thinking for a while and I really want to get a musical note tattooed barely above my waist line on my left of the front of my body. Music means so much to me and I want to get a tattoo with a bunch of meaning. It is a really hard to decision though, because I do not know how I will feel in let's say 20 or 30 years from now. I know that I will love it for a long time, but I do not know if someday I would regret it. What is your opinion on what I should do?

I want one not for sexual reasons but mum doesnt see it like that!!!
I love piercings but im not aloud anymore cause of work iv had to take my nose ring out because of the rules but where aloud tongue rings and mum want let me she goes its used for sexual reasons I go u know I want use it for that she just doesnt understand...

Well as you know I want to get my tongue piercing and before I get abused and told 'Don't do it its bad for your teeth' or whatever else you say, I know it CAN be bad for your teeth and all that stuff sooo back to the point.
I want to get it peirced now (Thursday night) because we dont have school tomorrow..so i have until Monday for it to un-swell a bit..
My question is will I be able to talk properly in 4 days and will most of the swelling be down, and what can I do or take to speed up the healing process????

Ohhh and because I don't want it to be that noticable for the first weeks can you get it pierced with a metal bar and get a clear ball put on the top instead of a silver one???

Thanks to anyone who doesnt say 'Dont do it' or 'Its ugly'

There's this strange elitist mentality that if you're afraid of the pain then you shouldn't get a tattoo. It gets even more annoying when people claim that having bits of metal jabbed over and over into your skin doesn't hurt or that people who think it does hurt are p***ies.
I have tattoos going across my spine and on both feet (one of which took 3 hours, tvym). I have others, too, but those three hurt like hell. I knew they would, was willing to put myself through that, but was still scared of the pain.
It's a natural human response. It's a very healthy human response. Pain hurts because it's one of the ways our bodies protect themselves.
Not even to mention the fact that people feel pain in entirely different degrees.
So why do so many people seem to be such a$$e$ when it comes to telling others they are wimps if they're concerned about pain? Why do they have to be all condescending and say that if people are afraid of pain then they aren't ready for tattoos?

I once permed my hair then added a semi-permanent color afterwards. It really started to burn, so I removed it. Then it seemed as if my hair just started to fall out, shedding ridiculously. Overtime it's continued to fall but only when it's wet.? Does anyone know why? It's very stringy and breaks easily when wet. My hair still continues to grow but like I said, whenever wet it comes out. I havent had a perm since 7/7/06 and when I wash it I get the same results. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE???

I am a naturally kind of sweaty guy, I think it is genetic, and I am starting a new job in the fall where I have to wear a shirt and tie every day plus either a sweater, sweater vest, sports coat or suit jacket over it.
