I don't and no -one ever notices although I would recommend you wax and not shave!

Don't shave above your knee unless the hairs are very visible. Shaving at all isn't a great idea because the hairs grow back fast and thick. Waxing is best. The hairs grow back more slowly and not as thick. Also, it will last you for the holiday. But you do have to let the hairs grow a bit longer than usual before you wax, so that the wax can get a good grip.

I shave above the knee cap and it was the worst decision I made, because once you start you cannot stop as the hairs just grow back thicker and darker. Like the others said, if you can get away with not shaving above the knee cap then dont. Dont do it unless you really have to.

Of course you can shave past the knee cap but if i were you i would go for waxing so that you dont need to worry about it on holiday.
A salon will wax the upper part of your leg if you have already shaved the lower part, plus they can get to the bits you can't see

I only shave slightly past the knee cap if I'm wearing shorts on holiday. Mainly due to the fact that I don't want hairs glistening in the sun on my knee area.

I have blonde hairs also, and oh says he doesn't really notice so I don't think it's essential.

I do. I shave up to where my thigh starts to get a bit fatter. I have dark hair. I don't see the point in just stopping there. Sometimes skirts come up higher than the knee cap, and when you sit down they shorten even more. Even though I shave the top bit, it's never been a problem for me, it hasn't grown back thicker or darker, I can still hardly see it. Its just I prefer to do so.

You know, its weird but I have heard that you shouldn't shave above the knee cap, but never the reason why!!!
I am also blonde, and the hair on my thighs is barely visable. I personally wouldn't bother if you can't see it. I wax my legs, but never go past my knee cos there isn't really anything to wax!

I shave above the knee and my hair does not grow back fast of thick, but it depends on the person. Ty shaving a small section and see how it grown back to see if it will be thick or not. You could always get it waxed. when the hairs grown back after waxing they are thinner. Ive had waxing done and its not painfull like people make out it is!!

I shave above the knee cap. I never really understood why girls don't shave above the knee, especially if they have hair. I like to have nice smooth legs.

The moment you start shaving above the knee chances are the hairs will grow back quicker and thicker in future. Chances are when you tan when you are on holiday the hairs will bleach lighter with the sun anyway.

well only cuz its gonna itch like crazy, but for some reason i feel like even if u shave the top area its not as hair growing back as it is on the bottom, either wax it or bleach it, this way it wont show at all and the waxing will be hair free for 2 weeks, u dont want to have bad itching pains from shaving now do you
