ok, in the 60s, 70s, and early 80s, it was still kiind of a fringe thing—only knife wielding bikers had tattoos. now every p*ssy, soccer-mom, and frat-boy has got some kind of tribal band, tramp stamp, or some other meaningless cr*p etched into their skin....are these people sheep or what? don't i express my individuality more by NOT having ink???

have i answered my own question? should i head the anti-ink league?

Luckily your opinion isn't that important in the grander scheme of things.

But to answer your question, it's your opinion.

probably because you are ignorant and closed minded but what do i know?
actually you are less "individual" than we are since only 1/4 of the american population has tattoos. that means you are like the other 3/4 of sheeple who don't have tattoos. also, tattooing has nothing to do with etching in the skin. definitely educate yourself before you go on rants against people.

also you are very mistaken about the types of people who were tattooed in the 60's 70's and 80's. you are a stereotyper. i bet you think all black people look alike huh? you are dumb. maybe that is how you express your individuality... oh wait. there are a ton of dumb people too.

Well seeing as I had my first tat when only bikers sailors and convicts had them I can say this; I wish I was ink less cause now I'd be different. Yes too many people just slap whatever on their bodies and they are sheep. I have a total of 10 tats and each one was given a year or more consideration before it got inked. But I have seen peps in the shops going what should I get? DUH you gotta live with it, not me. And if they ask me diectly and I'm not just over hearing it, I reply they need to go home and not get one.

No. The tattooed are still a firm minority.

And you can get rid of that conformist element by getting original custom tattoos, instead of a rose on your ankle like every other sorority girl on earth. You can get ANYTHING tattooed on you. The fact that most people are so uncreative has nothing to do with tattooing itself, or the ability it has to express an individual thought.

Why do you find tattooed people so loathesome? Because you're a biggotted idiot.

I unquestionably have Phil Ochs tattooed on my arm (human beings singer) I even have "by no potential Die" and a rose tattooed throughout the time of my ft, with a tigerbat above the ft on my left foot for Tiger military. I see me getting a pair extra musician tattoos. I unquestionably have an Ochs lyric tattoed around the back of my neck (Sacred are the scars) and an Op Ivy lyric around the insides of the two palms (it incredibly is desirable i might say... i does no longer have it any incorrect way.) i'm thinking a pair of warm-rod way of life tat, skulls and roses and a banner, gotta %. the lyric to pass interior the banner nevertheless. because it stands right this moment, i might probable % "In death as in life, i visit upward push up" or "My judgment of right and incorrect consists of the load of blood."

Why do you think that tattoos are meaningless crap? Why do you think that we, people with tattoos, give a crap about what you think?

You are depriving yourself of some interesting friendships since you loathe us tattooed "sheep". You're entitled to your opinion and the way you express your individuality, but did it ever occur to you that maybe YOU are the "sheep" by being in the group of tattoo haters? Go express your so called individuality elsewhere if you're going to be so judgemental.

Your just lame and so is anyone with an armband, but if your research on tattoos and there meanings you'd have a better perspective on things my tattoos tell stories about different things that happened in my life TRUE tattoo recipients are trying to tell stories not show their "individuality".

Wow....you sound really judgemental. Tattoos are not meaningless to the people who endure the pain to get them. Who really cares if someone else's tatt's are meaningless to you? Don't judge me because you don't like my tattoos....who are you anyway??? No one is going to hold you down & make you get some "crap" etched into your skin...although I think that would be funny....

So yeah, stick to answering your own stupid questions....

What difference does it really make. I don't care for it, but I really don't focus on it, everyone is different, it does not make them (on the inside) less caring, or kind. It's just a now type thing they think is good for them.

It really should not effect you. Focus on 'important' world issues you may be able to do something about.

good luck to you

K, people get tattoos as a fad or as art. I have three and getting another one to express myself and what I have been thru. However, all of mine are unique designs I had drawn specifically for me.
