Personally, I wish I had a nickel for everytime someone asked "How do you make a picture with everythig black and white and one thing in color?" Don't these people notice the "similar question" feature that pops up? What ones are you tired of seeing?

Any basics in using infrared film.I have Kodak 135.I also have a red filter I will be using. I am a big fan of Simon Marsden black and white photography. I'm looking to try his technique, but I'm unclear as to how he gets his prints to look so gritty and grainy. Is that made digitally ,in the lab, or during the shoot? Also what time of day is best to shoot with this film ? Any help would be useful.

I have a movement project for school and I cannot choose between these two pictures. The professor told me to pick between these ones and each one has something wrong with it...I just don't know which is the lesser of two evils. Which one would you choose? Thanks!

Where I get my film processed? If I'm using colour negative film (C41 process) and I were to have it processed at a cheap consumer lab, what difference would that make compared to having the film processed at a pro lab? Intelligent answers please.

Well I've been taking Pictures for almost 3-4 month's and I'm looking for feed back as far as my skill's go. I'd like to hear what you have to think, I think they're not bad and yeah I still got a long way to go but with practice and dedication I'm sure one day I'll have the opportunity to make a career out of my skill. I'm only posting landscapes and I cant get permission from friends to post the portraits.
So please rate me and give me some feed back as to what needs improved and what you think overall.

I think the matches they make are hilarious. For instance, someone just asked about enhancing an image of someone wearing a t-shirt "just a bit" so you could see, "you know... a little nipple." The links on the right were to places that do silk screening for t-shirts.

I am wondering what they will pick out of this question as a suitable match. Let me think of some words.

Saddle. Tires. Cell phone. Lifesavers. Enhancement.

Let's see what they come up with.

Any more suggestions?

Are there any camera lenses shaped like a periscope? I want to put a lense on my camera and use my camera like regular but have the lense see above the crowd. A periscope shaped lense would be perfect. Also, it would be so long it could have high magnification.

Has the digital revolution challenged the truth and credibility of images ?
Photography used to be the evidential medium and the very definition of visual truth. Used to be someone challenged your image, your show em' the negative or slide. Tangible, real, and containing the information as captured. Even the most skilled darkroom artist would be hard pressed to alter the image beyond focus and exposure during printing with believable results. So has the digital capture/ darkroom actually caused the general public to doubt an image's credibility ? Especially a great shot, I hear it all the time 'bah you can do that with digital'

So what do you think ?
