200 speed - great for outdoor. poor for indoor w/out flash.

400 speed - good all around for indoor or outdoor. a middle of the road film.

800 speed - great for indoor shots even w/out flash. just be sure to adjust shutter speed respectively. also 800 will start to add some noise to the image vs. the 400. any higher than 800 and noise will be greater.

Think of it like this Faster Film Speed will allow you to take pictures of action without the blur.
In other words you can take pictures with 800 film of a Basketball game without fear of blurred pictures.
So on the flip side of this many Photographers opt to use very SLOW speed film for the sharpness for Portrait's
Like ASA-64 or 100.
If you consult the little Paper that comes in the package of film it will give you the recommended uses for the light, action and the speed of the film to use.

in strong daylight you won't notice much different in 4x6 prints. You may see break up in solids like blue sky when you do enlargements

The real visual impact comes with low light. The higher iso become more pronounced in grain

take bracketed or un bracketed exposures

inside, with ligh coming through a window, no flash, wide open 1/30th of a second

the lower ISO speed films will have less pronounced grain

Hate to be blunt, but you should have planned your time better and started the project earlier. I've no clue what you want us to help you with now. Besides, I generally don't help others out with their homework or tests.

There is a reason that your teacher wants YOU to do the assignment. If your teaher wants me to do the assignment or Yahoo!Answers members to do the assignment, then we should be in your class and have them assigned to us.

Other than the above, the faster the speed, the more grain will be present.
You still using film?
