Are there any photography classes I can take in Gainesville, VA?

Maybe anything close to/in Washington D.C.? Maryland is too far though.

Shutterbug Magazine has an "Events Calendar" in every issue. It lists workshops, exhibitions, etc.

If your schedule doesn't allow formal classroom instruction you can always check The New York Institute of Photography (nyip.com). They offer correspondence courses and have been in business since 1910
