perki this is such a giggle, i asked the same question when i was just aquiring my answers addiction
i like the ones like i just bought a $3000 camera and my pictures still suck
also where can i sell my pictures- link to horrible underexposed shots
theres the how do i get a 8x10 from a 296k file - they arent to bad
what annoys me most is people say can i use this or that and is it illegal ---------- they dont care if its right or wrong what they want to do, they have no respect for others wishes - all they care about is themselfs and if they can get away with it or not
theres the how do i steal others images askedd as - how do i remove a watermark
im really glad your here you have so much to offer us all, so how do i get a shot black white and only one colour? -do i need flowers in the shot?

All of the above.
We don't get TOO many crazy Q"s like, "What's the absolute best digital camera on the planet?" and then in the body of the question they add, "My limit is $140-160. $170 is the absolute tops I can spend." Most of these people find "Cameras" before they find this section.
One that I really don't like is when someone comes here with an obvious assignment of homework questions and just asks for the anwser, as in a multiple choice question. It kills me when 2 or 3 come within an hour of each other asking the same question. They must all be in the same class.
The only way I keep from losing my temper is to realize that most of these people think that asking a question on Yahoo! Answers _IS_ "using the internet for research." They just don't know any better - yet.
Another thing that I am sick of, though, is rude answerers. If the best you care to do is say, "Read the effing manual before you ask another question," or, "Sell your camera on eBay, because you are too stupid to own a nice camera like that," you should just skip that question. At LEAST tone it down to something like, "Look up 'white balance' in your owner's manual." It's probably better to just let someone else deal with it if you only want to insult someone and upset them. This can be a very friendly place, but a few harsh answres will turn away someone who might be a real expert in another field where YOU (the poetic "you") might benefit from their knowledge in the future.

OH this is a good question.
Number one: "I want to turn this photo into black and white but leave this part (and so on) in color. How do I do that?"
"Help!!!!!!!!!"
"Am I ugly?"
"Am I pretty?"
"Who is prettier?"
"Is this photo good? It is at Myspace.com" (when the adults on this board don't care to sign up for myspace.com)
"I need a camera. What should I get?"
"I bought a Hasselblad H3D-39 for $39,000. Is it a good camera?"
"I found this deal for Canon Digital Rebel XTi for $300 from letsmakeadeal.com, should I buy it?"
"Do I look pretty with red hair?"
"I bought Leica R9 with digital back. My photos suck."
"I want a Canon 'L' lens for my camera. Should I get it?"
Etc. etc. etc. etc..

I'm just sick of people not knowing how to use GOOGLE.
I mean, for crying out loud, I don't know about you... but I found out about Google wayyyyyy sooner than I found out about Yahoo Answers....
But okay. If I had to choose some questions I'm tired of seeing, it would be these:
-- "Do you like my photography?" (Most of the time, the pictures are just mere snapshots........)
-- "How do I make photography my career?"
-- "What are some photo contests I can enter?"
-- "Where can I find photos of this?"
-- "How do I do this?" "How do I do that?"
-- Questions that don't even DEAL with photography!
And I'm tired of seeing avatars of people holding their cameras! Tackyyyy. LOL.

All of your answers gave me a good laugh, Antoni probably the most so good luck on picking a best answer.
I think the one about "Can I make lots of money as a photographer?" irks me most, Photography is something you do because you love it. I still vivdly remember the first time I saw the image appearing as if by magic in the developing tray in the darkroom. Now the gratification is almost too instant with digital, but there is still satisfaction in taking hostage the light at that perfect moment.

The one I ABSOLUTELY HATE SEEING is this one:
I just bought a camera that you could never dream of affording. Now, what settings should I put it to? And how do I do that?
The answer to these peoples questions is : "I'm not sure as I'm unfamiliar with your camera. Please ship it to me so that I can get familiar with it in order to answer your question. It may take a while."

I'm sick of the ones asking if their camera is broke. For example, "I dropped my camera and it bounced into the pool. Now it won't turn on. Is it broke?"

I'm not tired of seeing any questions. Let them ask the same question over and over and we can get quick points for answering them over and over just by copying and pasting the answers.

are my photos good??
oh yeah people who just purchased a camera and start asking how to use their camera without reading their owners manual.

The selective desaturation questions just make me groan... Totally abused style, IMHO.
"How do I make money," "am I good," and "am I cute" get honorable mention.
