I went on an audition for a part that I thought was perfect for me. However, i was unprepared and blew it. I could tell she wanted to give me the part if only she thought that i could handle it, but I was over acting all over the place. should I tell my agent that I was having an off day or just let it go and wait for the next one? I have this desire to tell him what happened and that I realize that the audition went badly and how I figured out my mistakes. On the other hand, maybe he didnt get any feedback and its just another part that I didnt get to him, however if i admit that i blew it then he'll think less of me and won't push as hard to vouvh for me and get me seen...

I went on an audition that would have been perfect for me but because I only had 2 hours to prepare for it, I really was unfamiliar with the material and it showed. The script sides were given out the night before at 7pm but I had to work until 11pm. So, I studied it until 1am. I had also scheduled to work at the time they wanted me to audition at 2:45 pm the next day, so I rescheduled the audition for 10:30 AM. I woke up at around 8:30 AM and studied it for another hour. Should I tell my agent that I blew that audition because I didn't have enough time to prepare, so that he knows its not beacuse I have no skills. I'm worried that the casting director gave him bad feedback about me and I want him to still have faith...

Of course there's the Actor's Studio but anywhere else? I'm also looking for the place where students studied with Stella Adler. I wish she was still alive. There are so many teachers that are gone now, that I begin to wonder who are the next best teachers that carry out the legacies of these teachers. ie Sanford Meisner, Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Stanislavski and many more. Do you think teaching students to be great actors will continue now that some of the best are gone?

Im not one of the thousands of kids who come on here and say how they want to be an actor/actress. I really need some valueable information. I am 15 and live on the east coast. What would be a good path to follow to get into the business.

One other thing, are theatre and acting close in reseblance? Why?

A couple years ago I played a priciple role in a world wide commercial, making me eligable to join the SAG Union. Members have great benefits and must pay $2300 for initial dues... Is this investment worth making?

I adore quite a number of actors. However, I can never tell which are method actors and which are not. I am just in love with their performances. After browsing some sources, I can only say most actors that are regarded as method actors do always portray intense/neurotic characters. Is there a relation? And can u ever tell? If yes, how?

Im totally heart broken. After all the hard work and effort that I put into trying my best I later call my agent and he tells me that maybe I should find a smaller agency. He hasn't been able to put 100% in my career and prety much in a nutshell they are giving me the boot. After 7 years of work..Ive done tons of commercials and at least 7 feature films then later I'm told that he has his mind on a thousand different things...mainly not me. I on the verge of suicide. What can I do?

I need some advice from a pro. I am currently going to college in Virginia at a school named Radford University. I realized this year that in fact I want to become a professional actor for the film/television genre. I am doing theatre here at school and I'm currently in a play. I wish to be in High School Musical 3 and wonder how I should go about starting my goal/dream. Also would it be smart to move to LA and live with family to help jump start my career.
