One Source is a talent franchise. They sell web hosting services for models and actors. As to how much casting agents actually use this web service there is no way to know as the website is sketchy at best.

But the bottom line is a legitimate talent agent does not demand that you pay them upfront, they make thier money from the work they book for you. Most if not all talent agencies don't call you, if you didn't submit to them they don't come looking for you.

Here's a link to another YA thread about them:

I was called onThursday and was told the vice president request I attend the open call on Saturday in New York. When i got there after an hour and a half on the train and was 10 min late cause the train was late and I called them a half hour before I got there. I walked in with 10 others who were late too. When we got up there. An can i say an "ugly , skinny short short jean skirted, slutty looking 19 year old girl with high heels barked at us saying it was already starting. We were signed in after another 5 min,. Then I was sent to a room with 50+ people mostly mothers with their little kids. Told to fill out a form. I filled it out turned it in went to sit down was in my chair 30 seconds and was called to get my picture taken. (3 head shots) then 2 min after that when i sat down again, I was called to the front by the slutty looking one, given to someone else who must have just turned 18 and was told " sorry mike we feel we can't market you." and that was it no explanation why , or anything. and I was outta there . The whole thing took 15 min . What a scam if you ask me.
Not only do I have experience in the modeling industry as for I have done a couple of photo shoots and was requested to shoot for Steve Anshell, one of the greatest photographers of all time .
This place is a joke and a waste of time.
What really threw me off was I sent them my information over a year ago. What a bunch of crap they are. Yes I am filing a complaint with the better business burro (can't spell) that was the biggest waste of time and cost me $40 in train fair and $15 in parking, and half of my Saturday.

go to bbb.org and see if there are complaints about them. That's your best resource for the information you seek.
