I want to know if this characteristics are good for an actor. I'm very friendly and very sociable I am always happy and trying to make people laugh. And when I am in plays I memorized everyones lines. If this good?

Then why are there so MANY kid actors on disney channel and Older actors like Tom Cruise?
Ive heard that you have to have a great amount of talent or beauty to make it..
Is this true?
How can I make it big like these people (tom) if I ever decide to be an actress?
Does it take long to become famous like them?

I have been doing this in high school alot, and i havent been able to find this major anywhere, i see alot of drama majors, but that is more for the actors, and i dont want to do design either. if there arent any stage management majors, what would be a good major if thats what i want to do after college?

My dream is to be an actress, i always hope that a director could come up to me and say that im invated to a movie. I keep having dreams bout it. OK so im 11 year old girl, i speak english, gerogian, a bit of-spanish and hebrew and im learning to speak french. Every one thinks im really funny, i have sense of humer, so i would be goon on a comedy movie or im eather good being dramatic so i just dont know how to become. What should i do. I asked my parents and they said they would help me but i need more help. I live in Israel for only 4 years, which i have 2 more years left and i wanna use this 2 years to become an actress. Before you say don't do it for the money, I'm 12 going on 13 so getting money isn't really a big problem for me. I'm thinking about starting an acting class because I have basically no experiance [just REAL small parts in plays until third grade] and seeing how good I am and if I really like acting, maybe trying out for small roles too [commercails or more likely community plays ] but what else should I do? just that? try acting classes and then work up? I have to get experiance because I'm a little insecure about not being talented enough or having the experiance so..... what should I do?

I went for an audition for a play, and I did not get the role(s) that I wanted, but the director offered me an understudy position for one of the roles.

Does an understudy get paid? And what's the average pay for an understudy at a fairly successful dinner theater?

my name is sharon , im almost 13 and my dream is to become an actress. i know it is hard and i am willing to go the extra mile. yes, i know theres a bazillion other questions about the same topic but please take some time to answer my question. ok thing is that i cant sing, but i would like to act [or model]. im not freakishly skinny, but im not obese either, and i would like to know some good [not overpriced] acting school in the los angelas area. i googled some and i found alexia robinson studio as well as macker entertainment, i dont know if theyre good or not though. so yeah, thanks for reading =]
