what do i do? i really want to become an actress or model but my mom doesn't agree with me she thinks it's a waste of time, and i would have to go to school for it but i'm so willing to pay and go to school i just dont know if i should listen to her or not...

i know, i know, "I'll be one of a billion." But who knows ha? anyways back to my question[s]. I'll be going over w/ $20,000[going to be broke FAST] and I'm taking acting classes this coming fall. So at least i'll be going over w/ a little experience. I want to know where decent places to live are w/ reasonable rent. I want to know everything about what i should do there as soon as i arrive. Like car registration, insurance, drivers license, recommended acting classes, recommended photographers for headshots, getting a job, etc. everything =)

i really like to act, alot, so im trying to find an agent to represent me. im trying to find a legit agent in the Greensboro NC and surrounding areas. Im not sure where to start looking for one. does anybody know/heard of any talent agents (not for modeling!) in my area???

Some of my friends are going to enter this beauty pageant because they received a letter in the mail. I don't know exactly what it's called. I'm guessing it's called "Miss Teen San Francisco" or whatever. Basically, they need sponsors of $500, no talent is needed, and the top 10 finalists get to go to Florida to compete in a bigger pageant. I'm just wondering if there's really such a thing as this.

kk so my dream job is to become a star like thing. meaning acting. like not into L.A. or anything. like u know plays and junk like that. how do i get into it more? i'm in the dram and acting. i love all types of art. like this year i'm taking fashion, food, art and dram. and like other things u can do is probably singing, and acting of real shows and dacing. but i want to move onto something bigger. i'm going into gr 10. and i'm 15 and i loving acting and stuff thing that. how would i become something like that? i live in canada AB. and thats as far as i'm gonna go. does anyone know how i could go were i wanna go? ^^ tell me kay. thankssss.

is it possible to make a good living acting? i really love it and i need to start deciding what i want to do with my life. my family says that i should do something else and act on the side, but i dont know what the other thing would be!!!!!!!!!!! i like to bake and i like working with children, but i dont really know if i want to do either of those things for the rest of my life as my job. help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!

When you are auditioning for a play and you are doing a monologue, should you look at the judges/directors? And if so shoud you look at their eyes,forehead etc.?Thanks

All my life I have been acting. It is something I love with all my heart!!! Not to sound cocky, but I am actually very good. I am talented in all aspects of acting. I have been in many plays, but I am stuck in a tiny town in Montana. Is there a way to go about being "discovered?" Even in Montana?

I auditioned for an acting role over a week ago, and they said they'd get back to SOME of us by phone before the following Thursday.
They called me on Tuesday, and told me all about the company, asked me how I felt about the role, and said they'd get back to me in the next few days.
My friend also auditioned and got the phone call and they told him it'd be Fri-Mon.
It's now Sunday and I've not heard anything and tomorrow is the last day for them to call me...

Judging by the way their first phone call went, I'd say it was promising, but I'm absolutely killing myself waiting to hear as I really want the job and I don't know what I'll do if they don't call me tomorrow - they already said not to call the office as they are very busy.

Help :(

I live in Florida and im very passionate about acting. i've been trying to get into the acting business for awhile now but as we all know its very hard. So does anyone have any good advice as to ways that i can help myself get into the business? Also do you have any good recommendations for acting agents? Another idea i also had was going to an disney casting call. Many people get their break from disney so i thought that would be a good thing to try but where do you get the information about disney casting calls?
So if anyone has any good advice to give me on helping me pursue my dreams and goals i would deeply appreciate it.
