I am a dancer and I need to find some schools?

Believe it or not, I just got a part in a local play that requires me to "act black". I am in Great Falls, Wyoming and there are no black guys who can play the part. The play is about a white female farm girl who gets accepted into an HBCU on full scholarship. She has no other offers and her family can't afford to pay for college elsewhre. Additionally, she was turned down for all the other scholarships she applied for, so she decides to go the HBCU. Of course, her roomate is black and I'm playing the role of the roomate's boyfriend.

I know there is going to be a High School Musical 3 and I want to audition for it! :) Does anyone know anything about the auditions! Like, where they're held, when they're held, what the parts are etc. Or does anyone know where I can find info about the auditions! just wondering, what are acting classes and singing lessons like?
.. what do you do at acting classes and stuff. cuz i was thinking about trying it but i just wanna know what its like and what you do there

oh and i reallyyy long singing so i was thinkign about the singing lessons but im 14 so is it too late? cuz most people start when they are really young so itd take a while for me to be good but i cant think of anything else id wanna do in life. i knwo im jsut 14 and i have plenty of time to worry about it but i LOVE singing sooo much but i didnt really when i was yougner so i never took lessons

I really want to audition because i want to be in something bigger! I'm a really good dancer! I mean i make up some of my dance moved, but there's nothing i can do to show them unless i get to an audition! Also, i can really act that good, but still they're just use if i have my show business career. Please i really want to get into Disney Channel because since i was 7 i told myself i would be a really good actor in this kind of career!

So i'm a dance team and i'm really good at Musical Theatre.
I have the facial expressions and everything, and even won special awards for them.

This year i did a song called "I Want to Go to Hollywood" and got amazing scores.
I'm continuing it and was wondering what are some really good songs?

I've found "When You've Got It, Flaunt it." By the producers.
"Popular" by Wicked.

Is there any better ones?

Hey everyone! I'm Jessica and i'm 14. For the past couple of years i've been wanting to be an actress. Specifically on the Disney Channel, just like everyone else. (:

I have a natural voice and i only went for singing lessons for about a month; and we all know you aren't going to be amazing after only a month. I've been dancing on a travel competition team since i was six. So i have all of the training in that field.

Acting is probably my weakest, though everyone says i'm probably amazing because i'm such a "drama queen." Haha.

I've been to a week long camp for dancing, singing, and acting.
It was alot of fun and i met some amazing kids.
But i don't know where else to go now.

I mean i'm entering high school and our drama courses are awesome but i want to start auditioning when i'm young.
But there are 2 problems.
1. BOTH parents work full time. We live near the City but it's not like we can go there everyday for auditions.
and 2. I don't have an agent.

Help?

I love to dance i have tooken gym for on year,balllet for 7,tap of 7,baton for 3 years and have also costarred in peter pan as tinkerbell in a lay.Over the years I have wanted to be an actress and is getting worse and worse each time i think of it,I was going to play as annie in annie but it got posted until next year,one of my big problems is the nearest place to tryout for shows and commercails is four hours away in salt lake utah!
I was going to sign a contract with an agent but my mom wasn't feeling it!!!!! It was very upseting and now i am on my own!!!!! I need help finding agent compaines and near idaho falls,Idaho

I took 40 lessons and spent $2000 and now have come to the conclusion that it was a waste of energy. I gained some increased body awareness, but I never achieved the experience of thinking "my neck is free my head goes forward and up" and then having it ever happen. In AT, you are not supposed to "do" anything, just think and it will happen. At this point, I feel it is a fraud and am disappointed that I spent so much time and effort in something that yielded little to no result. My original intention was to decrease tension while singing and I can't say that that happened. As well, given you are to "inhibit" all initiation of action, then I just became unconfident about how I used my body. For example, imagine if you inhibited every step you took, you couldn't walk. This is ultimately what happend in my singing
