ANY AGENT WORTH HAVING DOES NOT COST YOU MONEY!!!!!

Any legit agency will take a commission off of jobs they book for you (10-20% is the national norm)
You can check for local agencies by calling the actors unions
SAG (screen actors guild) or AFTRA (american federation of TV and Radio Artist) both have websites.

The most an agent will ask you for is to buy your headshots, and maybe a small fee to be on there web site... but that is it!
You should NOT pay to have an agent or manager!

Agents should not cost you money. Agents take a 10% of your profit when you land a job.

In order to get an agent, you will need a professional headshot which can be around $150 - 300 dollars. And some sort of acting experience on a resume. Very rarely do agents take people with no experience.

I can't help you with finding good roles, I'm in NY sorry.

Good Luck

When I lived in Houston, I was represented by:
The Pastorini Bosby Agency
3013 Fountainview, Suite 240
Houston, Texas 77057

Tel: 713-266-4488
Fax: 713-266-3314

Agents work on commission, 10%-15% depending on the city where you live.
